Why Seasoned Life Yoga?

My love affair with yoga began 24 years ago, as a young mother of three seeking ‘me time.’ The solitude I found in a crowded yoga class became a refuge to nourish my mind and body. As a pharmacist and wellness enthusiast, I began wondering why practicing yoga made me feel the way it did. This curiosity was the inspiration for my yoga teacher trainings. Acquiring the RYT 200 Certification and certifications in Restorative Yoga with mentor, Judith Hanson Lasater and Accessible/Chair Yoga for Children and Teens, Meditation and Yoga Nidra.

Off the mat, I can be found taking long walks along the beach or amongst the trees (love the beauty of nature), sharing a pot of tea with a loved ones, reading informative nonfiction (the perpetual student), trying a new recipe or venturing on a road trip to follow the sun. I enjoy planning events and gatherings and love to entertain, but I also need quiet moments to renew and restore. And I adore a good Yoga Nidra!

As my adult children spread their wings, I’m embracing a Seasoned Life. A life filled with grace, humor and a positive mindset. And the goal to inspire others. So here I am...Living the message I’ve preached for years~ “Do what you love and love what you do.” Sharing my passion for yoga, tips for a healthy lifestyle and simple, nutritious recipes.
